And I probably will too. Unless they decided to come through here on a Friday or Saturday...I dont even think they are scheduled for this coast yet.

I just played and sung Almost Again damn near perfectly. I am most pleased. And now, to do it again.

18 months after i bought it, my new(-ish) cooker is renovated, installed and working.

8 burners, 3 ovens, a grill and a plate warmer. Baby, let's cook!

Probably a sign of age, but I am more excited by finally having my behemoth catering cooker at my disposal than i have been at any of my recent guitar purchases.

I got my bike back!

I have now digitally communicated this jolly feat 5 times. The challenge is to find them all.

Today.

I drove to work in shorts and t-shirt, set up shop and whatnot, sat out in the back room watching Wimbledon with sun streaming in on me through the skylight, went and got a lovely lunch, watched Wimbledon, and then drove home in a shorts and t-shirt because it was STILL SUNNY! We're actually having a sunny summer. It's amazing. And to think I got paid for sitting on my ass all day watching tennis and stuffing my face, essentially what I do at home for free. :D

Nerdiness aside -
I signed up for bass camp today. Yes, bass camp!! It's a funny concept... but I think it will be really fun, Michael Manring is the instructor =D

Bass. Camp.

Along with that, in the fall I'm gonna take some theory classes at local schools. And along with that, Berkelee school of music offers online courses for specific instruments. They have rock bass, jazz bass, performance 101.... I'm going to go for it. The requirements are just that you have at least 1 years experience, can read tabs and formal notations, and own a bass. I believe that's it.

And one more thing: BASS PLAYER LIVE!!! '09 in October. This is going to be a bass-packed rest of the year. I don't think it could get any bassier than this :D
