No. Assuming you're listening to stereo music, 2 speakers is optimal. And if those 2 speakers are good enough a subwoofer is not going to make it better.

He's American, he thinks more and bigger is better :P

And you poor European saps who dont know the joys of getting what you want instead of whats passable wouldn't understand!

And I kid on that statement.

Also, I rather like hearing and feeling the lower end of the music I'm listening to. I tried stereo speakers in the past and it didn't cut it. Had a cheap 2.1 for a while that was ok, but wanted better sound. My last 5.1 lasted long enough, and as I said but you obviously disregarded, I wanted a good 2.1 but couldn't find one to fit in the space I have nor one I liked that would fit.

Yeah, ok. You're apparently only considering active speaker systems specifically designed for "computer" use. I had a Logitech 5.1 thing for a while, but now my computer's connected to a separate amp and two good loudspeakers:

This is what I'm talking about. Will slay any modern plastic trinkets you call speakers :D

But obviously they're somewhat sizeable, so it probably wouldn't be the right solution if space is a problem.

I'm getting one on Monday, eeeee!

Except that all I know about kittens (or animals in general) is what I've learned on the internets. Does the internets have any more tips for Orly?

Kittens don't come with funny captions in real life.

Bollocks, I have to make them myself??? They never told me that when I agreed to buy it. I'm seriously reconsidering now. :x

I don't even know what gender it is! I'm so excited. There's no turning back, I have 60 quid worth of stuff bought for it!!! Apparently it's black with white tips. It's only six weeks old! Six fucking weeks!!!! That's not even two months of being alive!!! HAHA imagine how tiny it's going to be! I don't think I've ever been more excited about anything in my life. When my mom was having a baby when I was ten I wasn't even this worked up. A KITTY!!!!!! FOR ME!!!!!

I decided that I'd name it when I saw it. The gender thing is a drawback but also, how can you name something you've never seen? I was thinking "KITTY" (said at least eight octaves above your regular speaking voice) or "Steve the cat" or "Ebenezer Goode" but NO. I mustn't tempt myself. I'll have to name it based on who it is. If it is Frank, I will name it Frank. If it is Philomena, I will name it that. Oh God I have to shut up now. I could talk about Kitty all day and I don't even have it yet. KITTEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

The gig I played last night. ^^ Twas a college final assessment thingy do. The band before us had been prety abysmal, and there was maybe twenty or so people in the room. My band comes on, and we were up to about sixty people half way through the set. I was most pleased. We got the highest marks we could, and people danced and looked impressed, and laughed when we were funny. I am most pleased. ^^
