Flight prices will kill my dreams of travelling overseas if this shizbitz shall occur. Talking a minimal of €750 just for the return flights. Owch.

Awesome is that I'm getting loads of work and making lotsa moneyzzzzzzz, even if it is really tiring. We just got a contract with QVC, actually! Hopefully that'll work out well. Their order is massive so fingers crossed! Unless I lose em in the production process... :D

I'd much rather see a normal concert than a clinic.

I can set us up. As Looshkin's cybonic twins once warned him in their song "I can have you killed, I can have you killed. I know a man, I have his number." Or maybe I was just told that a return flight can be procured for somewhere in the 400 quid region by an American yesterday if you fly with something called Delta.

Porcupine Tree. I've listened to them for a whee while, and I've felt fresh floods of inspiration - For every instrument I play, as well. They've got me writing some lyrics. I think I was trying to emulate Dev before, and then became scared of my instruements. I still listen to him plenty, but I'm glad to break away a little and get my head around some new stuff. (New for me, at least.)

Worst thing a musician can do is try to emulate another musician. In my opinion at least.

Maybe stop using Open C? I noticed since frequenting here that so many people absolutely revolve around Open C but I rarely ever see anyone posting music they wrote in it (there are a few)

I still stick to standard and drop tunings. I love Open tunings on acoustic, but I definitely stray from tunings like Open C and more for like Open Dm.

I had used alot of tunings before Open C, and I'm more than willing to shuffle around. But currently, C is a nice comfortable tuning that I'm starting to sound good in. Music wise - I don't feel I've had any incentive before now to actually put anything up. Give me a few weeks and hopefully some laaahvley (read: Awful) sounding recordings from my webcam/camera device shall be up.

Standard and drop tunings, FTW. Half step down from standard is always a fun one.

I found a $20 in the parking lot at work today. Made an announcement to see if anyone would claim it, and no one came forward. Easy money. 8)
