Haha same here! Well, not quite, but I have an accordion folder in which I keep concert tickets, setlists and picks if I'm so lucky :) Those sweet 'thank you' notes from HDR, photos of bands, and articles.

It's a little much, but that kind of stuff is valuable to me :)

Picks are easy to get, especially if you're a cheery girl like yourself. Get to the front and give the puppy dog eyes.

Ha you're actually right though! I hate to say it - because I'm really not into using gender to get what I want - but at the end of a show, my hair is like a lighthouse, and then they see the grin and give me a pick to make my night. So you're absolutely right. Also, I'm usually pretty close to the stage.

That's how Steven Wilson gave me a pick, and how I got a setlist from Tony Levin when they opened for P-Tree.

Anyways, I'm not cheesy. Just sentimental.
Wish I was old and a little,

Ew, stupid Porcupine Tree joke

Nobody tell him I download. That way, I'll get one, too.

It works for guys, too. Just be near the front and be REALLY into the music. Visibly. The band sees that, they love it. Especially openers. (although being a girl does help)

Or it might be the coy look I give Thomas Youngblood all the time. Tee hee :newangel:

Yeah the fanboys have a special place in a band's heart too as they should :)
My tactic is also straight up staring at Colin Edwin during shows. And he smiles. Well, he does that anyway, but he smiles back at you :D

That's cool that you got to slap his hand, Abydost!! Was it the kind of high five where you shake your hand out after because it hurt a little?

Oh sorry, I was so eager to post those pictures of Colin Edwin, I misread your post. :)

He doesn't seem like much of a high-five guy though, more of a 'let's have a badass-guy staring contest' kind of guy. But if you can get him to high-five-booty-bump, then... all I can say is: take pictures.

Wow, I'd never seen a picture of him before. He looks really like a paedophile poet from Ireland called Cathal O Searcaigh.

The resemblance is uncanny... But I picked that particularly evil picture because I don't like him. This is him smiling:
