I think that was marmalade. The only reason I tried marmalade when I was little was because Paddington liked it.

If you go to http://www.marmite.com, you'll see that they're using Paddington for advertising ;)

But he didn't like marmite according to his wikipedia page. This lie is dreadful. I am quite displeased.

I don't know if I like marmite or not. The eating or not eating of it would entirely depend on what mood I'm in. I drink bovril sometimes. I think it's just the fact that they're so salty and they have such off-putting names which make me indecisive. :S

I believe that Paddington Bear's liking of Marmite is a new marketing invention. In the show it was always Marmalade, which is also awesome.

Marmite + Marmalade sandwiches = probably awesome?

Thanks though, I love the color! Especially since every production model 8 out there right now is black, I thought this would be a better pick!

I believe it dude. I'm not down with the 6 string bass because of the neck width  But if it doesn't stop you, more power to you man.

It's all about giant man-hands, DsD.

And... When you go black you never go back, I guess? o-O

Oh god why have I said this.

Oh God, that was completely called for. It could've been worse, you could've gone the "well you know what large hands mean..." route.

This whole Paddington debate has gotten more attention than I would've suspected! Perhaps it is a marketing thing, but wouldn't the company have to get permission to use Paddington as a 'spokesbear?' So maybe he does like Marmite. I really don't know shit about Marmite, so it's hard to speak on. In any case, Paddington still rules :D

Seconded. I got songs off Shopping Kart's site yesterday as well. They're gradually updating a full album as the songs are completed. It's great.

I realize this is probably going to be viewed as me being a bastard showing off, but I just woke up being 1000 euros richer... :D

Reason being my father having a life insurance policy he got in the early 80's, and it would pay a decent sum of money to my mother each year if my dad were to stop living before he'd turn 58. Since he's still alive and kicking (fortunately!) and recently turned 59 whatever money has been accumulating in that fund was given back to him. He won't tell us (us being his 3 children) how much, but he gave me and my 2 brothers 1000 euros each. Perhaps to stop us from asking how much he really got back... :P

Anyway, live dad and extra money. Win-win! :D

This is a mix of awesome and un-awesome, I'm guessing about... 60% awesome, 40% un-awesome.

I got my tattoo done. It wasn't really painful at all, and the tattooist who did it made it look amazing! I shall post pictures latur. I have to wash it every hour today and I got a cup of soemthing that looks like jizz to put on it. And I got the tickets to the Porcupine Tree concert in October, aaaand Ass-sordid 1 and The Hummer with a thank you note and smiley from Tracy.
And now the un-awesome. I got an email from Noroff University (which I got accepted to) saying they're not starting the sound and music-production studies here in Stavanger until autumn '10. So I either have to move to Bergen or Oslo and start studying, or I take another gap year and actually find a fucking job or two. I could also practice mah guitar, music theory and songwriting skills during that time. And I'm not really ready for movin yet. I think it is clear what I must do. Indeed.

That's great! Congratulations dude. Make sure not to go out and blow it all at once 8) Once in a while, you get lucky you know? One day a decade ago now, my grandpappy handed me and my brother a check for $2500, which was probably at lot stronger then... but the point is, that was the most money I'd ever heard of when I was 11!! :D So use it wisely xD

First of all: the awesome sounds REALLY awesome. Can't wait to see pictures! Yeah that week where you have to take care of it really sucks. I remember that jizz stuff - you have to sleep with it on, and it got all over my bed  YES. TREE TICKETS. Good job.

I'm sorry about the school business though. That blows.
If it were me, I'd take the time off, work on guitar religiously, keep a job, and wait. Wait for the dream Abydost. :) But, that's just me.
