They did indeed use the church organ (one of the most powerful church organs in northern Europe, if I'm not mistaken), the concert was recorded and filmed and will hopefully make its way to a DVD.

Attila Csihar did the vocals, and the preludium with him and the organ is the most terrifying thing I have ever heard.

Which was what I got my bf for his birthday (the best type of present you can give is one you get to enjoy as much as the recipient! haha)

verdict = absolutely mindblowing, I don't think I'll ever see a better set of musicians in my life!!

I saw Black Majesty last night for their last local show before heading off to tour Europe and do this years Wacken. With In Malices Wake and Envenomed as support, two thrash bands from Melbourne.

What an awesome show, you'll never be disappointed with Black Majesty on stage. If you go to Wacken this year, make sure to check them out.

Saw NoMeansNo yesterday evening. It was the second time I saw them live, and they're keep getting better.
A trio of 50+ guys playing punk mixed with jazz, creating an original, alternative sound.
Their new record "All roads lead to Ausfahrt" is also a recommendation.

Oh, and did I mention they're Canadian?

I don't usually get to go to concerts, but I went to see Muse a while ago, and they're better live than they are on recording, definitely. Even though Muse aren't exactly my favourite band, they still put on an awesome show, and the lights display was pretty cool too.
