Holy fuckin shit! The Melbourne show was amazing, the turn out was outstanding, we roughly got over 1000 people. Security were very strict on cameras, but who cares I was happy to see Helloween.
By the time I got there I was able to catch the last song of Black Majesty, which was Guardian with Danny on backing vocals. The sound for BM wasn't that flash, all the vocals were washed out but everyone else sounded good. Hanny told me they didn't have enough time to do a sound check so we just got what was given to us, still no one complained...everyone wanted an encore. lol!
Vanishing Point were outstanding as always, the sound of the first two song was abit off, but then it cleared up after awhile. Everyone put on an outstanding performance tonight, I reckon tonights set and sound was alot better the Iron Maiden show in Melbourne, but they both kick ass regardless.
Helloween were bloody on fire as usual, the atmosphere of the show just blew up as soon as they came on stage. They first opened with "Halloween", which seemed to go forever. lol! I seriously forgot the setlist but Im sure someone will post it up. From memory they played "As Long As I Fall", "Future World", "I Want Out", "Keeper/Perfect Gentleman duo", "If I Could Fly", "Bells of the Seven Hells", "Eagle Fly Free", "A Tale That Wasn't Right", Dr. Stein",
"Sole Survivor"...thats all I can remember.
The crowd though, my god. Fucking insane, Ive never witnessed a crowd that insane in my life before.
Was lucky enough to meet the band thanks to Gary and his quick thinking. They were pretty out of it, well Micheal was...he just scribbled an S on my CD's and just nodded at me. Can't blame him though, he looked pretty tired. Marcus and Sascha were really cool, very wide awake and just down to earth. I got Sascha pic while in the mosh pit, he throw out like 10 and I was lucky enough to grab one.
Andi and Dani weren't around, I know Andi doesn't like signings and Im sure Dani wanted to do another things. But seriously they were tired and I didn't want to bother them, I just said hello, said thanks for coming to Australia and got them to sign my stuff and I was outta there.
I took some pics of the stuff I got signed. I got the Keeper Pt.I signed with Kai Hansens sig aswell, Gambling with the Devil and the booklet to the Keeper of the Seven Keys: Legacy DVD.

I would have gotten pics with them, but my camera was still in the cloak room 2 floors up. Backstage was pretty much underground.
On a final note, shirts sold out in a matter on minutes. I was pretty pissed I missed out, but hopefully they sell some of the Helloween online store.

Event was just big bag of fail, organiser totally screwed up any promotion and there was maybe 100 people in venue (including bands and personnel, hur hur), and most of them sat on their arses and drank beer through sets. Fortunately some nice person on lastfm searched Sybreed fans and sent them info, without that they'd play to totally empty place. Also, band were playing over a working bar, wtf.
Supports actually weren't as bad as I expected, being somewhat stylistically compatible (metalcorish The Old Cinema and industrial metal Cruentus - these guys even played cover of "Cloud Connected" by In Flames, to applause of all of, like, 13 fans). Sybreed were impressive, even if bit spoiled by deaf soundguy and problems with monitors. Drop have one mighty right wrist and their new drummer is also quite a dude to play Dirk Verbeuren's parts. They played lots of stuff off Antares, there was Emma-0, Isolation, 12 Megaton Gravity and Permafrost to list my faves, and some stuff from their first album (which I bought after the gig), including mighty Bioactive. So thankfully it wasn't complete disaster and I didn't waste my two days off work taken to see them. And I have a T-shirt, yay.
OK, here's MULTIMEDIA part.
Moar crappy photos on my wankr (lighting was awful, it's a miracle that there's something half sharp on them):

Ministry will play @ Warsaw in july, nothing was said about their support, but I guess Meshuggah would be just too good. Of course I plan to see this gig (even without Meshuggah).
Report how Mesh played "Bleed" live after gig, I'm wondering how's it humany possible to play.
