I'm not that enthralled by the Monkeys. (And I know a lot of deep dark secrets about Biert's musical tastes. Muahahahaa!)

Don't worry Gozu, I will protect you. You see, I too was at that MCR show. And the previous one at the SECC. I have also seen Fall Out Boy at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange and Madina Lake at the Glasgow Garage.

Though I have an excuse: My girlfriend.

Still, all those bands put on a good show. Madina Lake were really nice too, we got to meet them afterwards.

Arctic Monkeys are a bunch of monkeys indeed.

My advise: like whatever the hell you want to like. Don't give a shit if someone else doesn't approve of your taste in music. I went through the whole "prog snobbery" phase a few years ago, but quickly grew tired of it; tired of the same type of music all the time and tired of most prog fans. I can appreciate good musicianship in just about any genre, except for rap and hip/hop...ok, and most country I'm not fond of either, but it's alright...I don't want everyone else to be the same as me, to share the same tastes in music or movies or food or women's underwear or whatever. Life would be waaaay too boring if everyone liked the same things.

4th? Holy crap, that is poor! What gigs do you have lined up? I have Apocalyptica and Porcupine Tree in December, hopefully.

M'lady is going to the Coheed and Cambria show as Madina Lake are supporting, but I dont think I am going. I will let you know if I do though.

going to porc tree cause although it'll be the 5th time i've seen them they are being suporrted by anathema. i'm also going to pelican and high on fire the next day. tis gonna rock

I like Winger. I think Kip Winger is a great singer, and that Reb Beach is an awesome guitarist.
