Not sure if this is of interest to you, but when you said druggy, I thought of this:

It reminds me of Requiem for a Dream.

i've been meaning to listen to buckethead for long time but i keep forgetting.... randomly clicking on the sidebar, 'spokes on the wheel of torment' is pretty fucking radical.

Perhaps check out Swervedriver? Deep Seat, Duel, Blowin' Cool, Duress and perhaps my personal favorite Last Train To Satansville. I'll give you the first one for free. :P

What is it with everyone listening to the same thing the past few days?

Have been listening to Mastodon for the past hour, & just before that Floyd's Pulse live album.

If you're listening to Deadhead right now, I'm going to look out of my window... You better not bet there...

Yeah, whether they're serious & trippy like Oblivion, or Goofy & weird like Sleeping Giant & Curl Of The Burl, which I might add is the most infectious song I've heard in years.

I'll just be sitting there, minding my business, & all of a sudden I'm humming out loud "I killed a man 'cause he killed my goat"

It's such a weird one for them, too, sounds more like a Corrosion Of Conformity track, or ZZ Top on steroids.

I find myself doing the creepy pelvic dance Brent did on Letterman when I listen to Curl of the Burl. Especially during that part lol.
