All day baby.

Last year, my little sister (who was nine at the time) took part in a Rocky Horror screening. According to my mother and other sisters, she was the most convincing Frankenfurter there, from that song to asking, "Have you got any tattoos, Brad?" Apparently she got the most applause and a prize, too. I am proud.

As for current ear pleasuring,

The whole thing is about 20 min long and all the songs are glued together. It's almost like catch33, love it.

My need for metal seems to want to expand and grow, but I am just sick of metal vocals right now. The music is growing still, moving in a number of different directions, but the vocals have become almost a parody of themselves.

Someone will post a tune on here, and I'll be all hyped to check it out. The music starts, and I'm like "yeaaahhhhhh....," and then the vocals start, and they sound like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget:

They all sound like that, for the most part. Or, sometimes they go from clean to that, but always back to that. It is like country singers who all sing with an accent or a twang when they aren't even from the South. It's just gets a bit silly. It's like "Dude, I know you weren't born sounding like Dr. Claw, and it took you years to sound like all these metal singers. Now, why don't you stop and ask yourself 'why?' Why would you want to sound like them, and not like you? What does your voice sound like?"

I'm so glad we have Devin. So glad.

I think it can be safely assumed that Frank Welker has influenced every extreme metal style.

Speaking of which, my present listening experience:

Nader Sadek has really impressed me, especially after the disappointment of Illud Divinum Insanus.

Couple of years ago we had minor reggae/dancehall/ragamuffin/whatever explosion - even one of our IT dudes left the company to pursue the sound system career. There were lots and lots of bands with white dudes singing in Polish with their best attempts at Jamaican accent. Seeing that would make Billy either furious or very amused I think.

I can see where are you coming from anyway - that said, if music's good enough it's still possible to see (hear) past the crappy vocals for me. Even it's pretty hard sometimes.
