Going through some Atmosphere albums as the newest album, The Family Sign has just dropped. The more recent albums, for the last 5-6 years have been relying on live instrumentation in addition to the usual mic/deck combo:

Yup, I thought Ghost in it's entirety would have been this minimal. No matter, just not sure which I want more.

I do like the food metaphors with Dev's stuff. Deconstruction being a big, greasy, savoury mess honed to perfection for all the crazy fast-food musical truckers we are, while Ghost (and presumably Ghost 2) will be the musical equivalent of tapas; loads of little morsels thrown together in a serene whirlwind of colour.

And afterwards, we can all go onto the internet after digesting it all and discussing what our farts smell like.

^When we listen to them all at once, perhaps Ki will be a light salad, with some vinaigrette dressing to give it that extra tang. Addicted will be a good serving of garlic bread (and I'm talking whole loaf) to fill our bellies more, while we wait for the main meal. Deconstruction will be the big steak, burger, burrito, falafel wrap - whatever main course where we indulge and not care just how fat we're getting, we love it. Ghost will be a nice dessert, like berry frozen yogurt, or perhaps some fresh fruit with light cream. Ghost 2 will be that extra indulgent devil's food cake or some such chocolate that we follow up with just to complete the experience.
