Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Listening to All Hail the New Flesh, and just when the song got heavy (0:15-ish) someone down the street blew something up! :D (they're building something) BANG!

I originally read that as "someone down the street blew up" which confused the heck out of me as to why you were so matter of fact about it...and made me wonder what was causing spontaneous human combustion in Norway

Rosetta - A Determinism of Morality

HAHA! :D Don't know why, but that made me laugh uncontrollably for a brief moment. xD

My buddy Dan Dankmeyer's stuff. Someone who uses an 8 string and doesn't sound like a Meshuggah knock off is ALWAYS a good thing!

I still absolutely can't get enough of this. Very much looking forward to seeing them again when they're back on home turf.

Even if you're not into the whole 'djent' thing, I'd still recommend you see them. Take from that what you will. :)

you dont need a reunion with the cavaleras when the music is kicking ass like this

by the way. is it just me or has this TesseracT band been flogging the same bunch of songs for the past 5 years or so?

I've been thinking that too. It's unfortunate, because I know plenty of people who are really into them - but they're doing nothing that hasn't been done better several years ago. I agree they're great players, but doesn't that make the situation worse knowing that they are completely capable of playing music of a far higher calibre of what they are/have been?

April is probably one of the best songs I've heard this year.

They already have basically a whole second album written. Acle sent me a demo of one of the songs and the production is MILES ahead of their debut. Sounds like their second album will top the first no problem.

Probably the truest thing I've read on a forum. Really looking forward to the album. Still wish Motion didn't get a rewrite though.

Now for a Canadian band nobody's heard of, except some Scottish dude.
