Are there many Grishnackhian moments on that one?

Although I can imagine Kip Winger fantasising about doing a Euronymous on Lars.

I totally grew up on Winger, and fully and unashamedly embrace my inner child.

Can't say I remember many Varg moments... :D

Heh. I have, and love, every Winger album, including Kip's solo stuff. I even got Keeks to listen to an album. :)

Kip is definitely a songwriting genius...with an amazing voice and melodic sensibility, but he shot himself in the foot with the subject matter of his songs and those God awful videos with the hairy chest and all. Because of this, he never got taken seriously. Shame. I was always able to overlook all of that, and the melodies (mostly from the obscure songs) seeped into my little pores.

NP: Soilwork- The Panic Broadcast

I'm blown away. Especially with the bonus remix of "Distance". I almost wish they would hire whoever remixed that and just make all of their music in the same vein. But yeah, the whole album rules. It's tight, catchy, and the production is sweetly Swedish. Thank God Wichers is back.
