Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away.
Only heard it with vocals for the first time a few days ago.

Halo freaks will recognise it as the music that plays during the shitfight between the Brutes and Elites in the Mausoleum of the Arbiter in Halo 2. 8)

I am loving this tune from Digital Noise Academy, a project started by Ken Andrews (Failure, On etc.) and his wife Charlotte Martin. It also includes numerous other musicians that contribute to particular songs. This tune is maybe not what you'd expect from Ken Andrews but then he's a little like DT in that you never know what to expect. Cool video too...

Enjoy!

Painkiller by Judas Priest. The whole goddamn album.

Every once in a while I get these feelings like I wasted my childhood by growing up listening to heavy metal and that there's so much more out there, blah blah blah hippie bullshit. And then I remember I have been listening to plenty of different things my whole life and I haven't wasted shit.

This album is just that goddamn good. This and Seventh Son by Iron Maiden are like comfort food for the ears.

Katatonia - A whole bunch of songs.

I heard of them a fair few years ago, but was into light stuff at the time. Happily, I can now appreciate this. ^^

Side note: I'm listening to Katatonia, so remove the "Happily"
