I know there was mention of it before, but its kinda slipped off everyone's mind it seems. But Devin just posted on twitter-

Could this mean that the festival shows could end up as the live album? I bloody hope so!

Maybe he just wants to hear it back to see what went wrong and what went right. Work on some self (and band) improvement.

I could see some of the live stuff making it on to CD. In fact, I would bet on it. Especially with the two final DTP album being pushed back to next year, it would be great filler for the fans in the meantime. Something simple like the DTB "Official Bootleg 2000" disc.

Dev has talked about making a live album, yeah. I think in the topic about Soulfood he talks about it a bit, wherever that topic is. I found an unofficial bootleg of Soulfood and it was spectacular. Lots of new songs. If he chooses to release an Official Bootleg 2010 it will be amazing =]

If he does make one, I hope it contains Ziltoid tracks with the alien himself speaking/insulting through the PA system.

That would be a nice bonus! Fingers crossed for something anyway, always wanted a full live Devin album!

I was thinking that maybe the boxset of DTP will have either a live CD or the Ziltoid DVD (maybe both).

Z2 could also come with Ziltoid DVD as a bonus? Or maybe both released separately.

Either way I don't plan to buy the boxset of DTP when it is released UNLESS it comes with something like a full-length live CD or Ziltoid. It would be a real selling point.
