I'm quite curious if you'll be doing any UK dates or any dates for Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland very rarely get any good bands touring over here, bar a few which are quite good.

Everytime I look at most tours for bands I like, they're mostly in England and Scotland or Dublin.
I've only been to Dublin twice, once to see AC/DC and once to see 'tallica.

Planning on seeing Iron Maiden in 3 months time at the O2 Arena.
Anyways, if anyone knows, if Devin even knows about any dates that are upcoming for Northern Ireland.
Please let me know.

There's actually been a lot of awesome bands playing in Belfast this year. It would be awesome to see him in Belfast, but I'd happily go to Dublin to see him.

Bloodstock are advertising Devin as a UK exclusive for 2010. On a technical level that sort of rules out a gig in Norn Iron. He twitted about the possibility of a European Tour this summer but it doesn't really look all that likely for dates to be announced outside the festivals for 2010...

It says on the Bloodstock site a special live performance from Devin Townsend.

Anyways, I'm totally moving away from the actual subject.
I think it would be better to see Devin at his own live performance instead of festivals.
But, I know I'm going to enjoy it.

...and you very rarely get any unique bands playing, you get the big metal ones.
I like a little prog, I think it gives you a better atmosphere and more randomness.

But anyways, thanks for you help on shedding a little light on my concern.
Hopefully HevyDevy will play Northern Ireland sometime in the future and he'll bring Ziltoid with him hopefully.

O rly? I haven't been on the BOA website since the announcement so I didn't know they'd changed the notification. It was definitely advertised as his only UK gig for quite a long while... If it's only special maybe there is a chance he'll be doing other dates before the year is out. Fingers crossed, anyway!

Is there any more news on the possibility of Dvv coming to the Uk in the near future? I know he played BOA in August and i see he's on tour in the US etc for the end of this year....the UK next year perhaps?? PLEASE!!!!
