Did Devin once praise Opeth, Ulver and Meshuggah like mad?

Well, this is strange, but I'll try to explain...
Long ago, when this forum was first launched and didn't have all these sub-categories... maybe in March 2004 or something, Devin also used to come here and post regularly.
I seem to remember him praising three particular bands to heavens and saying something along the lines of this: "Opeth, Meshuggah and Ulver are the pinnacle of music for me these days."
Well, I did a thorough search but it seems the older posts have been removed. So I was just listening to Blood Inside today and couldn't help but be blown away by its magical power and uncompromised writing. Then this popped into my mind; am I just making this up or is Devin really a big fan of these acts?
Thoughts? Ideas? Links to interviews? Anything?

I think so
The booklet for 'For Those Aboot To Rock' tells people to go out and buy Meshuggah CD's, and some other band
Edit: Jesus Christ I know alot, this is the second time I referenced a booklet, and probably the 5th or 6th I answered someones question

If you're looking at Ulver, give Perdition City a go.

I don't remember but it'd be cool if he was into Opeth. I once hated them except for their pure clean vocal stuff ( I still think Damnation is their best) but my god every album is brilliant. I just listened to "Still Life" today...amazing.

I started a thread about Ambience and Dev talked about his respect for Ulver's departure from black metal to their ambient/electronic/experimental sounds.
Blood Inside by Ulver is monumental!!!!

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised since I know I've seen things of him praising Meshuggah and Opeth, and Ulver kinda go right along with them.
Opeth's last 4 albums haev been very

though.

When we started up the forum I remember Dev being very much into Blackwater Park. And who could blame him?
I was admin back in the day so I SHOULD remember why it happened, but we lost all the original posts, post counts etc. from back then. The forum was reset or some bejiggery (can you tell I'm not big into the technical side of this shit?). Some of our post counts would be quite obscene if that had not happened.

Yes I remember the day opening the booklet and seeing this, the next day I went out and bought some Meshuggah.

Those three bands definitely have sounds detectable in Dev's wall of sound.
Whoever recommended Perdition City, I'm glad someone else considers it one of Ulver's best (or at least a good introduction). Points go to Blood Inside as well - "Blinded by Blood" is one of the most amazing songs i have EVER heard, period.

I consider Perdition city and (especially) Blood Inside to be Ulver at their creative peak. I simply can not imagine what will come after Blood Inside. Even BI is almost ungraspable...
that said I love everything Ulver has done

They are all bands that I would imagine would easily very much respect Dvin's work and vice versa...not necessarily in a away that sounds very similar. but some common qualities. Plus a lot of us on here like all 4, so I guess it makes sense
