The Devin Townsend Band

Just formality, but is there any particular reason known why Devin called this band written with THE, whilst Devin Townsend Project without THE? I want to be precise, but alphabetical sorting f.i. on flash disk separates works of the three (DT, DTP, TDTB)...

No one will condemn you for acting pragmatical instead of being precise. Except for music nerds, but those will condemn you for sorting your music ALPHABETICALLY!

Just put it as DTB, I don't really think the "The" plays much significance in the acronym; after all, the symbol only displays DTB.

Everything except Strapping is just labelled as Devin Townsend both in my head and in my iTunes, just feels easier. Also it doesn't spread his play count on my last.fm page across 3 different names which feels tidier.

Same for me, I have all non-SYL Devin stuff tagged as "Devin Townsend."
