So I bought my ticket for the sept 20th gig in Montr

It depends on both vendor and venue. I tend to go for overkill and bring a receipt of the print out, my ID, and the card used. Might seem silly but there's nothing like driving 7 hours to a gig and discovering they require something left at home.
