I made this as a tribute to my favorite metal vocalist of all time. I'm surprised no one's done one of these for Devin yet. If you like my work, please subscribe! I'd really appreciate it.

Well done. I knew he was gonna be pretty much pitch perfect, but I never realized just how consistent his voice has been throughout the years. Killer!

Cool video. The last couple of really high notes are probably more incidental than controlled, but very impressive nonetheless. :)

I just had like a 5 year long deja vu thing going on. I haven't listened to Devin's music in aaaages... now I want to

For some reason listening to that made me wonder what he'd sound like having a go at Alice Cooper's "Elected." Especially the chorus.

Great job dude.
BUUUUUUT !
I think you forgot what is probably the ''lowest'' note Devy can sing.
In Planet of the Apes during the ''quiet'' part he says : .... I am so happy now. I've got a little boner.
The NOW is very low, lower than the low notes in awake! cuz I can sing them while I can't sing that NOW in PoTA.

And in We Ride from Alien, Dev says : But change is always there IF YOU WANT IT ! (or something like that).
That part is high as shit !

This was awesome. And very impressive. Both Dev and the OP for making it. I knew his range was practically inhuman but never realized it was that wide.

Excellent work and very thorough. I thought he passed out at the end of "Sex & Religion"? The song, I mean.

Small question: Is it possible to expand the video to includes more examples of Dev's clean voice facets? They make up probably 50% of his recorded vocals and it'd be a shame to overlook that side. I think he's especially impressed everyone with the impressive variety and range with clean vocals, especially songs like Ih-Ah, The Way Home, TMM

I couldn't figure out the We Ride note. The "now" is an F2. That would have been a good one to include.

No Punky Bruster? That scream from the end of Girls Next Door is unbelievable. And Ez$$ has to be one of his highest choruses ever.

In Seams he's singing very very low as well. I'm less familiar with the Vai era, but there may some impressive high notes in there as well.
