Devin can take me away.
Really far away.
Any song of his.
Cold air.
Dark room.
Meditation.
This has become a large part of my life.
Something about Devin's voice and his Wall of Sound takes me away.
I can reflect on my day, think about what I did, and improve in every way possible (mentally) and put it to action the next day.
I'll go as far as saying Devin helped me make the all state orchestra. (Ranked 2nd overall in Texas Percussion, out of 100k+ percussionists in high school, yes that's right it's not exaggerated in anyway.)

Tell me forum.
Does Devin take you away?

Where does he take you?

My imagination = quadruple what it is normally with Devin.

Erm, I think his tunes are pretty good and he's a very nice bloke.

yep.. his music takes me away.. there are hundreds of bands whose music i love, enjoy, meditate, mosh drive, sleep to, and fully respect... but devin has something else the others dont... but i cant put a finger on it. It definately has had an affect (or effect?) on my life. and definately not a detrimental one.

Devin touches you in a special place? You may want to contact some law enforcement agency about that...

My "uncle" Troy used to just listen to Megadeth and drive a bulldozer at the dump, and then go surf. I'm pretty sure he's also one of the happiest most zen people I've ever met.
