It will probably never happen, but I would love to see Devin put out an album of some of his other/older songs in the style of Ghost. I know that sounds quite weird, and I may be the only one who finds the idea of that interesting, but I like the idea of it.

Thoughts?

PS, sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in the general Dev board, or in the Ghost subboard.

don't really know what you're getting at... redo old songs w/ flutes? don't really think that'll work too much.

i don't think any older songs remind me of ghost either. it's probably the most original piece of work he's created yet. maybe slightly reminds me of the death of music.

and i'm glad you brought up what forum to put this in. must we really have a separate forum for each individual album? i mean, what's the point?

Maybe parts of songs of Terria or Synchestra remind me of Ghost. But there is often some electric guitar involved

I would not really be interested in hearing the reworkings of older songs Ghost style...

When he does the acoustic gigs, they all kinda come out in that style

Two weeks in the Alien Album is similar to ghost

Parts of Ghost remind me of The Hummer, the last two tracks of that album in particular. I also thought Dark Matters to be similar to Project EKO, albeit more relaxing.

Yes, we really must. Makes it easier for us mods to keep things orderly.

Definitely PARTS of songs, not necessarily whole songs remind me of Ghost. However, I could see That's Life fitting in perfectly with Ghost

Two Weeks. I love that song, I find it weird that it's under the Strapping Young Lad name. I could easily imagine that on one of the Ghost albums. Dev should re-record it for Ghost 2!

'Alien' is just the next SYL record and the acoustic song is supposed to make you feel worse...not better.
