So I was wondering, would get in some legal shenanigans if I had one car decal made of the DTP logo for my own personal use?

Copyright laws are the type of laws that are defined by whoever has the better lawyer. For the most part the rule of thumb is that when it comes to print art, if it is not being reproduced for distribution, profit, or advertising for a product unrelated to the artwork, then it is ok.

I sometimes draw logos, including DTP, on the glass in my shower whenever there is enough steam.
I trust this is not in breach of copyright?

Smartassery aside, if people can make tattoos out of logos, you should be fine. Unless you sell your car as merch.

as long as you're not selling them or marketing them as your own original designs, there's not really any breach of copyright going on.
