What are your listening plans?

My plan is hopefully to settle down and listen to all 4 albums in a row (hoping they arrive by the weekend following the 20th as I've got the work the weekend after and I'll struggle to fit them all in in an evening so if not I might need to rethink and just do these 2 on the first listen) I'm thinking lights off, lie down and listen - can't wait!

(Coffee + sofa) * feet up^2 = maximum pleasure potential ± irratating dog barking/sleeping

OR

CDs->MP3s->MP3 Player->Listen outside/in private/on the toilet

Can't wait!

Decon then Ghost, on some tasty headphones in bed :3

Deconstruction = FLAC's ripped from my own CD cranked via my Sennheiser HD238 headphones, sitting at home with my feet up and something spicy or evil to eat. No, not a cheeseburger.

Ghost = high bitrate CBR MP3's (again, my own rips direct from my CD and not FLAC transcodes) on my Creative ZEN, listened to while out hill walking in the countryside in my trusty Salomon Quest 4DGTX boots. Sat on a hill top with a glorious view for miles over England's green & pleasant if the weather is kind enough.

Yes, before you ask, I've thought this through far too much

waiting for ghost leak and will listen to that a few times to get a handle on it and fall in love with it.... once that is done I will be firing up all 4 bad bois in a row. at this stage in the game I'm not sure where, when or how, but it will be done.

I did the first three yesterday... i told myself to wait, btu i couldn't and i had to give it a shot. ah well, i'm still extremely excited for a)hearing ghost and b) listening to all 4 in a row

part of me wants to listen to ziltoid followed by the 4 dtp's... i feel like zilt is the unofficial 5th (or first, prologue or something) dtp album. if you think about it it even fits thematically......

I think, once it leaks, I'll just put it in iTunes and play it over and over again. I'm to impatient to listen to Deconstruction or all 3 albums before Ghost. I'll probably listen to all 4 albums in a row at some point though.
And setting? Uh.. depends if it's before or after June 8th (exams and shit). If it's before I'll just sit in my room with tea or something. If it's after, I might bring my iPod to the beach, knit (or read) and eat strawberries. : D It will be fabulous.

I didn't wait before listening to the Decon leak, but my plan is to listen to all four albums in a row. I'm going to make a huge event of it. Gonna have popcorn, tea, candy, and a cheeseburger. Also, gonna listen on my Sony professional dynamic headphones (dunno what else to call them, forget what they were listed as. Bought them for my studio work) It's going to be bliss.

Also, how does one rip a CD to FLACs? I need to know this.

I am waiting for Ghost only, because I am also waiting for Ghost 2 so that I can hear it as one monolith.

At some point, I'll listen to the entire DTP front to back (all four albums) but when Deconstruction and Ghost show up in the mail... I'm gonna be too excited to listen to Ki and Addicted before them, haha. Whenever they show up, I'll just start hyperventilating and jumping around for a couple minutes, then focus just enough to rip them to my computer, sync em' with my player, go outside and find a nice spot in my yard, sit down, put my headphones on, and finally immerse myself in them back to back. No leaks for me; I won't hear either record until they're both in my hands physically. Consider my anticipation increasing exponentially every day, from now until June.

I am so looking forward to lounging out by the pool in the sun up in the mountains in Portugal, miles from anything resembling congested civilization and just basking in the glory of the whole Project, four in a row, with nobody around to bother me in the blissful seclusion of it all...


...except Prexy. But if she bothers me I'll just drown the bitch.

I'll rip both to flac and on to my Cowon Iaudio9, and use my Shure Se115, and most likely just take a long 2 hour or so walk, and listen to them, thats my favorite way of discovering new music.

At home, I got the ATH-AD700, and a nice set of Energy speakers, and would probaly just sit down with a white russian, with my feet up.

I like to knit when I listen to music. Or cook. So probably be doing one of the two. I like the idea of listening to all four in a row...will do that, too.

Taking a weekday off, taking all 4, and my super duper headphones to a rock beach at this place called Land's End, which is ABSOLUTELY EMPTY on weekdays. You're right on the tip of the ocean and the san francisco bay, you can see the golden gate bridge, and boats passing through... with the waves just chopping at the current. Seals arfing. Pelicans flying by.

It's a magical place, and where I'm going to listen to ghost for the first time after the first three parts.
