You may think this is a joke, but I assure you, it is not.

I'm inheriting some money and I thought I could use some of it to support Devin in some unusual way and have a great experience in the process.
I've been listening to his stuff since I was 12 but I've never even seen him live..
So I thought, what if I payed him to come play at my party next year?

I'm not sure if Devin is up for this kind of things.. but of course, he would get payed well.
However, I doubt Devin will fly all the way to Finland just to play for some asshole, so I could have the party in Canada or something.

So what do you guys think? Any chance of this "Ultimate Devin Experience" happening?

Just ordering the 4cd box set is not epic enough! Must be epicer, must order the Devin himself.

I ordered a Devin about three weeks ago, it's not here yet, but the local vet tells me they require a reasonably sized garden to run around in, plenty of water and hay.

Owning a Devin is a big commitment, both in time and monetary respects- don't forget the financial strain of routine vet checks/flea/worming treatments too. And don't forget that neutering your pets is part and parcel of responsible ownership.

AW C'MON, I'll make sure he gets fixed and is properly trained. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE.


Uh as for the topic, I mean, you could try and contact management, but uh, I'm not sure what that sorta thing would take/cost since it's an unusual request.

I got some Devins a few months ago, and I think they are finally settling down. They're alright as long as you don't feed them after midnight. Oh, and that little bastard in the background bites. But if you give them proper training I'm sure that can be avoided.

Don't worry guys, my sister has a Devin, she's pretty good with them so I'm sure she'll give me all the advice I need :3

She says it's very friendly, but gets shy around new people.

Why ever not? Most artists will play anywhere if you pay 'em enough. Metallica did a gig in Tuktoyaktuk for 500 people back in 95. I think it cost the organisers $2million for a 45 minute set. Beyonce, 50 Cent, Nelly Furtado, Mariah Carey and a whole bunch of artists you would think probably didn't need the cash that desperately all played private concerts for Col Gadaffi. You, on the other hand, are probably a much nicer person than col. Gadaffi and Finland may be a trifle chilly in winter but still a sight more hospitable than Tuktoyaktuk. The logistics of flying Dev and band over to Finland are probably easier than flying all your friends and guests over to Canada. So what's not to like?
If you got Dev to play your party and only perform songs by Beyonce, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent and Nelly Furtado, that would be pretty rad. Although, setting my mind to it now, I cannot think of a single song by any of those artists except the Beyonce one which has the horn section sampled from the Chi-lites, and I don't even know what that's called.
Having Dev play your party and only perform Chi-lites songs would be truly awesome.

Well as far as I know, it would be wrong to do so since the Devins are an endangered species.

Since they breed/spawn that quickly I highly doubt they'd ever become endangered.

Few years old now but one thinks this probably still stands.
