I did something like this when Addicted was coming out (http://www.hevydevyforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=8714), and thought it might be fun to do here. With 29 songs projected

I made this image thing to set as my desktop background and realized it could come in handy here. If I have left anything out of either tracklist, someone correct me. And yes, I know that Ghost 1 and Ghost 2 are supposed to be split.



I am going to predict "Planet of the Apes" and "Blackberry" as favorites. Respective runner-ups are "Pandemic" and "The Mighty Masturbator", and "Infinite Ocean" and "Moonshine" (or "Drench"... god I can't wait for that one).

What about yours? (yes, it's all guesswork. Just something to pass the time with.)

EDIT: Interesting, Pandemic ended up being my least favorite, but The Mighty Masturbator and Planet of the Apes were definitely highlights. Sumeria was a surprise.

Last orchestra clip definitely gives me chills with both Planet of the Apes snippets. Undoubtedly impressed with everything we've heard thus far. With how diverse and progressive Deconstruction seems to be, I expect the clips barely scratch the surface of how we'll experience these songs. So as you say, it could only be a guess here, but Planet of the Apes, Juular, and Poltergeist are the ones I'm looking forward to the most.

As for Ghost, until I hear it, my only expectation for it is to be a mood (to be experienced as an album rather than individual tracks). I suppose this is how I see most of Devin's catalog--the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

Really hard, man. I love everything I've heard.

Hmmm...for Deconstruction, I guess Stand, Planet Of The Apes I, The Mighty Masturbator and Poltergeist.

For Ghost...Feather, Texada, Infinite Ocean and Watch You but these all could change.

My favorites from Dev's albums are a little unorthodox (Soul Driven, Pixillate, The Way Home!) so I could think very differently after I hear it many, many times.

Also, could I use that image you made for an official Dev thread I made on another forum?

Sure thing. ^_^ Like I said, don't murder me if I made a mistake. Those were the most updated I could find in Dev's postings.

I'm thinking Stand has the potential to be one of my favorite songs ever..

... I'm trying not to overhype myself though.

As for Ghost, it's really hard to say at the moment... Feather was incredible though.

(I'm really hoping Saloon comes out at some point.)

20 songs on Ghost ! I like some of the titles.. but who knows if they reflect my predictions?

Ghost is going to feel like an adventure.

Stand and Texada. Both sound fucking awesome.

'Fly' and 'Planet of the Apes.'

its prolly gonna be either Sumeria or Planet of the Apes for me at the moment. I already love Heart Baby (the live version anyways.)

Fly for Ghost and Pandemic for Decon.

Seconding Pandemic for Deconstruction. The 'wandering soul of mine, wandering in time' part is like listening to two suns colliding.

As for Ghost... Monsoon, Texada and As You Were. Heard chunks of and love the first two; the last just sounds like it's going to appeal to me, for whatever reason.

Feather, Texada, Fly, Blackberry, and Perspective for Ghost!

I'm going to go with the title tracks. Deconstruction and Ghost. Ki is a great song and so is Addicted! So maybe we'll have two more winners here.
