Gaia just annoys me, and Mental Tan is kinda Gaia's twin. I dunno, Vampira never appealed to me either, so I off goes Vampolka too. :D It makes the album feel much better, for me at least.

Most of Dev's solo stuff all gets played for me, minus Physicist, which I have to be in the mood for.

As far as Strapping goes, the more time passes, the more I find myself skipping all of it. I have to be in a really bad state of mind for it to hit me like it used to. I listened to Alien today , and it was good, just didn't feel right. I'm sure in the future go through a Strapping phase again, but for now I'm trying to harbor a positive mental state, so Strapping doesn't really coincide with that.

SYL goes pretty much skip-free for me, except for HAARHT: I usually listen to just SYL, Rainy Season, Happy Camper, Critic, Satan's Ice Cream Truck, Japan, and Monday.
Sometimes I find myself skipping Shine as well, although it does segue nicely to We Ride. And Info Dump, I usually don't sit through it. It requires a certain mood for me. I actually made a "Zen+Info Dump snippet" for my mp3 player as Zen would otherwise end so abruptly. 8)

As for the solo stuff, it's mostly few songs here and there I don't feel like listening every time.
I tend to play Terria starting from Earth Day - Olives is kind of like the intro, but Mountain is one song I've yet to "get"... :-?
From Accelerated Evolution, if there's something I might skip it's usually Away and/or Sunday Afternoon, those ones need the certain mood to word. I'm not that huge a fan of Babysong, though I skip it only occasionally.

As Ghost is a mood album for me, it probably shouldn't be even included here, but here goes anyway. It's not something I have on my regular playlist, but in a certain mood, it really hits the spot.

road kill (and most of the ass-sordid demos, simply because the quality is poor or they're not well thought out)
christeen
vampolka
vampira
bad devil
baby song
ih-ah
80% of ghost (I'M SORRY I'M JUST TOO AGGRO FOR THIS ALBUM but seams and blackberry are great)
i never listen to devlab or the hummer either.

as for SYL:
satan's ice cream truck
fucker (which sucks because i love the song, but i loathe the female vocals on it regardless of their purpose. )
info dump
the demos off the city reissue because i just freak out and want to hear the full-realized versions again.

Hmm. Let's see.

I always only listen to the first three songs of Cooked On Phonics (Recipe For Bait, Fake Punk, EZ$$). I don't know why actually.
The only songs of Ass-Sordid Demos I ever listen to are Man and Morwar. I like how he put Morwar in there to "show all the shit that went on behind the guitars". :)

Somehow the Official Bootleg never gets any listens from me.
From Physicist I only listen to Namaste, Victim, Material, Kingdom and Irish Maiden. The rest just doesn't really attract me. I guess that if he were to re-record it, they might.

I've never taken the opportunity to fully listen to Terria. Earth Day, Deep Peace and occasionally Stagnant are the only ones I know from it.
I never listen to Ass-Sordid Demos II, even though it features a track with the name of the city I was born ;).

Devlab is too weird for me. I have listened to it a couple of times.
The only actual song I skip sometimes (not always!) is Babysong. It doesn't really fit in for me.

And that's it, really. Wow, looks like a lot like this. If anyone thinks I really should listen to other songs that I don't listen to, please tell me and I'll give them a try :).

EDIT:
Oh yes, SYL. S.Y.L. and In The Rainy Season are the only HAARHT songs I listen to. Sometimes I skip Room 429 and I never listen to the City reissue demos.
No Sleep 'Till Bedtime and the Tour EP have got digital dust on them. I've only recently started to listen to the album SYL, but a lot of it is still too extreme for me.
I LOVE Alien and The New Black though.

actually, yeah. i skip it if i'm listening on random mode, but i let it play in the context of the album. i've been, like, worshiping at the C$C temple for at least 10 years and it's really hard for me to dig the cover because it's really not all that good. i feel like they were going for a carbon copy, but it just didn't happen and it makes them sound like n00bs while doing the song a great disservice. i actually heard the cover a few years before i got into SYL and was mostly insulted by it even though you can totally hear dev's love for cop shoot cop in it. it's mostly endearing at this point, but still...

cop shoot cop, authors of the most eloquent line ever written: i don't know what i want but i know i don't wanna to be anything like you". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlL7fKT6NUw

Reading this thread is quite a shock! Let it all out, forumers :P

Myself, I'm a sit-through-the-whole-thing kinda guy. I'll usually do that but occasionally, when I have less time or am using my mp3 player, I'll pick out the tracks I want to hear. Many opf my deconstruction listens went like that - not really enough time to hear the full thing, so start at TMM or Planet, and just continue until I have to stop. Even so I've heard it all pretty evenly, despite being less keen on Pandemic, for example. I even listen to those ambient outros on The Fluke or Notes From Africa! [/hardcore]

If we're just looking for some songs I dislike/hate/would skip if it didn't make me feel dirty...

- Winter/Ain't Never Gonna Win
- Noisy Pinkbubbles (to this day I swear I've never listened to it)
- I can see myself stopping Ghost after Monsoon
- Most of Physicist after Kingdom

But I would never skip the hidden track on Terria, that one's amazing.
