Tori Amos could be a pretty cool/interesting collaboration. Something a bit different from a collaboration with another artist in the metal genre.

Tori Amos would be awesome with Dev. I think she could handle it - her and Maynard James Keenan did a duo together not too long ago
It would be very different though, wouldn't it?!

Actually I could see Tori Amos and Dev cooking up something interesting between them too.

However, in a leap of imagination from my earlier suggestion (Bill Bailey and Dev) it would be brilliant if they did duelling banjos together. And since we're talking the whole band here, I suggest Animal from the Muppet show on drums, and the guy who's name I don't remember from Spinal Tap on bass (he does the voice for Mr Burns as well). And an enormous inflatable Ziltoid floating above the stage. Yep. Works for me.

Gackt and Dev would be awesome.
Although I'm sure I'm the only one here who would think that. :D

Songs like Death Wish, Lu:Na, and Rain would be interesting with a Dev twist...

Just so you guys do not have to go searching, here two in one ;)

I'd actually thought about this, but I wasn't sure it would work... there's the language barrier, for one thing  . But at the very least, they should collaborate on fashion- I'd love to see a visual kei Dev.

Also, I was surprised by how good those songs were- the only Gackt I'd heard before seemed kind of lame compared to Malice Mizer, but perhaps I will have to look into him some more...

gackt has a lot of lovely hidden gems :D

If you like thoe two though, I would strongly recommend looking up his Kagen No Tsuki set. I think it's the best one he's ever done. Really is amazing. the set list (for the first half, never got around to second  Goes as:
Noah
Doomsday
Death Wish
Lu:Na
Speed Master
Fragrance
Rain (those last two possibly the otherway around, I'm not sure.)
Lapis Prologue
Another World
Mirror
:D

Oh, and Dev has already done Visual Kei

That's true- I kind of forgot about the "Deep Down Into the Pain" video. I was really excited the first time I saw that- Dev's current fashion sense is the only about him that's less than godly  .

I don't really see why you put Devin in there. Otherwise, pretty cool piece. I like the idea of a giant kiwi :D

Ok- here goes- My ultimate wet dream of musical collabs, Devin, Akerfeldt (of course), Martin Lopez, Kai Eckhardt, Frank Zappa(since this is a dream anyways), Adrian Belew, and Steve Vai in a closet to come out for an occasional solo(triumph was amazing)....Unfortunately, it seems "super groups" never seem to turn out right-too many strong minded people who want to go different directions.

Devin working with Frank Zappa would be amazing. And I can imagine what awesomeness would come out of Devin with Mike Patton or/and Steven Wilson. That would be mindblowing. :P
