The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

I especially love the beginning. Actually think that song works a lot better in this form than on addicted, but I've yet to see it electric/live.

Some people just need to crawl back under the rock they're from.

How we got them? You're the one who implied we should use Google to find it (and it wasn't a torrent anyway, so there!).

Seriously, I usually never download stuff. I hate not having an official, "real" copy of something. If and when this ever becomes available for purchase, I will buy it immediately.

I have a code when it comes to downloading, and certainly with this album as soon as I can "crawl out from under my rock" and pay for a physical copy I will. And it's a bit hard for me to discuss the songs if I don't have the album innit?

But I digress, now that I can discuss it the album is beautiful. Funeral is sheer brilliance, And I love that bit of guitar flurry at the beginning of Ih-ah. It's cool to see the roughness of the album and sort of be able to experience Dev's improvizations.

Monticarnum was the one whose rock I was implying.

Ultimately you're talking about downloading something that was for sale on the artist's official site. Passing around links, soliciting, whining for them, talking about how and where to find them is EXPRESSLY against the rules and pretty much the only thing we enforce around here.

You may discuss the songs, but how it's acquired and that discussion ends here now.

It was? I thought this was an oddity that was just being sold at his European acoustic shows (I admit I have skimmed over some of the posts in this thread and might have missed what you are referring to).

he doesn't mean it was forsale on here, he means we are talking about it on here

Poor phrasing on my part, slingshot's right.

The point's moot, it's a pretty bit of music, innit?

It really is. I haven't listened to all of it yet because I don't have a blank CD to burn it onto (I'm old school and don't have an Ipod  ) and I can't sit at my computer chair for very long listening with headphones (the best way to listen to Dev imo) because of my very screwed up back. What I have listened to has sounded great. Funeral is fantastic and I think I may like this version of Kawaii more than the one on Ghost. Devin's vocals and acoustic playing are both very strong.

Wait, what did I do? I wasn't taking part in the piracy discussion.

I know I'm a shithead, but I've changed my ways! Honest!

Not a wise idea. Coma.
