:help:

Does anybody know the cheapest place to grab the "two CD's in one single sleeve" version of the release, especially considering I'm in the UK. I have my "double sleeves + wrap" version already but want that one too.

Which sites are confirmed to be selling this slimmed-down version?

Thanks in advance for any info, obviously!

I might actually do that. But I don't want to hear any of the album songs until they are in the cold prison of my CD player.

I tried doing that. After two listens of Radial Highway (which was amazing, really stoked for Ghost 2 in it's entirety) and a listen of Ho Krll, I had to jump into both albums. Even thought it's not quite CD quality, it was mind blowing. The albums are the only albums so nice I bought them twice, and it just keeps getting better. One thing I've always loved about Devin's music is the pristine quality and that quality just keeps getting better. The crystal clear production of these albums has raised the bar for all music. Material aside I've gotta give props to how well made these albums were. Normally you just see amazing music with horrible sound/production, or horrible music with insane production. Mr. Townsend went the extra mile to combine those two elements of recording music, making for a truly awesome listening experience.

I was under the impression that the Century Media one is the simpler version but not sure if anybody has had theirs arrive from that shop yet?

Anybody with a CM order care to confirm what actually arrived from them?

I got the download link this morning for the bonus tracks... "four tracks from the upcoming GHOST II album plus Ghost lyric sheet".

Songs are:
Drench
Fall
Mend
Watch You

Haven't listened to them yet, am waiting until I can listen to them on proper equipment as opposed to laptop speakers...

My CMDistro bundle came with black round dtp logo patch, heavy "beefy tee" black t-shirt (good quality, nice thick material), the vinyl is blue and has a plain white sleeve that fits inside the jacket (which is nice, I was expecting just the jacket with no inner sleeve). I think it was a fair price for what I got, enthusiasm for new Dev music aside.

I would have rather had the CDs with each having their own slipcover, like Addicted had, as opposed to the one large slipcover housing both jewelcases, but oh well. It's not a big enough deal to me to buy them again.

In an email from them they said that they "were not allowed to sell them until starting on the 20th" and that they were working through them from that day onwards to get them all out. Sounds like they had their hands tied to an extent on when they could actually fire them out. Might be why the delay compared with other places that sent them out to arrive around release day?

Just a thought!

Got my ultimate bundle yesterday.

I noticed that my vinyl was blue AND gray, like a tie-die affect. I've never owned a vinyl before and I was wondering if that is normal or a defect. Anyone else get a two-tone vinyl?

That's normal, they do alot of gimmicky things with vinyl records like that.

That fits with what they said to me, as mentioned a couple of posts back:-

Seems that is indeed the case so anybody wondering can be a bit happier knowing they've not been forgotten and are probably being packed to be sent any time in the next few days.

It's a shame that their bundle is not sent out ready for release date from them but at least it doesn't sound like they're having a problem either.

Positives & negatives, as ever.
