I know he's done this before and I think it could be good throw back to SYL fans if Dev did Cop Shoot Cop - Room 429.

That would blow my mind.

I can hear Devin covering that song whenever I hear it is what I'm saying. It has all his elements and sounds like something between Terria and Infinity.

That's what I was trying to say.

Also, a Dev cover of Spice Girls Wannabe would be the best thing since best things began, whenever that was!!!!

To turn things on their head, I came across this last night...

Some dude covering Storm acoustically. Amazing. Imagine Dev doing that with layered 12-strings, mandolins and a touch of an orchestra.

"Life's what you make it, so let's make it rock"
-Hannah Montana

C'mon it fits the addicted vibe.

Either that or one of those equivalent rock chick songs, like "Since you've been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson, or whatever. It would be cool to hear that with Devin's screaming vocals. Just scare the shit out of all the little girls.

I don't know why, but whenever I hear those rock chick songs, I think of AC/DC playing them.

Ok here's my list:
And these are songs I believe would fit well with dev's vocals.

Alice In Chains: Man In The Box (Maybe even the acoustic themed, "brother")
The Beatles: Get Back
Black Sabbath: Black Sabbath
Children Of Bodom: Needled 24/7
Elvis Presley: Jailhouse Rock
Eagles: One Of These Nights
Fear Factory: Digimortal
Gojira: To Sirius
Gun's 'N 'Roses: You Could Be Mine
In Flames: The Chosen Pessimist
Iron Maiden: Fear Of The Dark
Lamb Of God: Walk With Me In Hell
Led Zeppelin: The Battle Of Evermore
Megadeth: Countdown To Extinction
Meshuggah: Future Breed Machine (Haha, would be crazy.)
Metallica: Blackened
Mr.Bungle: Squeeze Me Macaroni (Would make my day :)
Nirvana: Heart-Shaped Box (This song is so much better than smells like teen spirit imo.)
Opeth: Death Whispered A Lullaby
Pain Of Salvation: Disco Queen (Would be interesting)
Pink Floyd: Welcome To The Machine
Queen: Fat Bottomed Girls
Tina Turner: Nutbush City Limits (Just for laughs lol.)
Serj Tankian: The Unthinking Majority
The Smasing Pumpkins: Tonight, Tonight
Stonesour: Bother
Tom Waits: Hold On
Van Halen: Feel Your Love Tonight
Korn: Alone I Break

I'd vote for Runnin' with the Devil. All those screams and "whoo-hoos" in the vocal tracks are perfect for Dev. I'd like to see if he could out-do DLR. DLR has one of the highest and best "Owww!!!" screams in the world. I'd like to hear Dev try to hit one of those.

I can see these being huge if performed by Dev. Good choices! Heart-Shaped Box is probably one of the few Nirvana songs I would go out of my way to listen to, that and Breed.

Some random pics of mine:

Deastro - The Shaded Forests
Three - The Last Day
Sponge - Plowed (with the Dev's touch, this song could become absolutely massive)
Extreme - Am I Ever Gonna Change?
Dredg - The Canyon Behind Her
Andrew W.K. - I Want To See You Go Wild (a great high energy tune)
Coldplay - Chinese Sleep Chant
Mew - Am I Wry? No
Tears for Fears - Year of the Knife
Shinobi III - Whirlwind (TOTALLY random, but this song is begging to be turned into a decent metal tune)
