The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

I want to see Devin produce a new Fear Factory album, while being given full post-production electronics duties. Like fellow Canadian Rhys Fulber had on Demanufacture and Obsolete, (but before Digimortal, when he actually joined the band for writing, and everything went to hell.)

I mean, FF USED to be awesome. The potential is still there, I think. Even without Dino. They just need someone to get in there and kick their asses out of the boring-riff-laaaaame-vocals-and-lyrics rut they've been in for the last three albums. AND for someone to bring back cool electronics and samples.

Come on! With the Byron Stroud connection, it should be a no-brainer!

No matter who Dev works with, the product will not be as good as anything Dev has done on his own. Why would you want someone ELSE getting in THE DEV'S fucking way and diluting his creative genius? How is this other person gonna add something to the mix that's better than Dev could have just done on his own? Total nonsense.

Wait a minute....I've just reconsidered! EMINEM! Afterall Dev could never come up with some of those killer rhymes: "I'm not a hater just an ill-rhyme sayer who'll spray an aerosol can up at the Ozone layer!" That's major ownage right there.

I would love it if Dev did guest vocals and guitar on a Dethklok song, but producing?

I would honestly have to go with Enya on this one. I've been thinking about it and I honestly think Devin producing an Enya album would be amazing.

This. I love Fear Factory. They're the band that brought me to the dance a decade ago I want them to come back and be so good.....it won't happen though, Transgression showed they had no hunger left.

Since someone already said Akerfeldt, (the perfect combo) and he already worked with GWAR (yes!) I gotta go with Buckethead or Halford. Buckethead does everything, and Halford... well he's Halford. He wants to do heavier metal anyway, and what better artist to work with than Dev?

I'd still pick Hoglan or Martin Lopez over Haake (as amazing as he is, and he's def one of the best). Hoglan is just so fucking awesome and Lopez has a very varied style of playing, very jazzy, which is awesome. Bassist, I'd actually say Webster from Cannibal Corpse. He's just freakin awesome.

I believe someone suggested Steven Wilson. I'd like to see that happen, yeah that would be brilliant and "brutal," to use a cliché. Seriously, they're both phenomenal musicians, phenomenal producers, and phenomenally creative.

And to whom had suggested working with the Rush boys - I don't know how well that would work out, but I'd be awesome to hear a collaboration anyways! Both Dev and Rush are talented, and Canadian! That'd be a real trip
