Actually, if cheap is your game, then the eTap is your best bet.
Slighty out of the way from Vicars Lane but only by ten mins. They also have a nice pub that does a decent fry up right below.

Christ, it's depressing knowing that I've contributed around 90% of the posts in this thread...

Just a sexy little reminder that the FREE LONDON SHOW is this coming Friday at the Unicorn in Camden. Up the road from The Underworld (it's a bit of a walk, so get a bus and enjoy crushing that carbon footprint into the ground). ASTROHENGE, CONAN and ART OF BURNING WATER.
Chance to win TWO FREE DAMNATION TICKETS (and perhaps some other goodies...).

Also, buy a festival ticket. :P

I'll be drunk and handing out fliers, telling you how Damnation can improve your sex life and stop terrorism.

New page, new picture.

Aye, they've tried to distance the headliners as much as they can, but it's a bitch with three stages, curfews and soundchecks.
Glad Godflesh have got a nice gap to set up in. They ate up 30mins of their hour set at Hellfest with additional soundchecks.

My day looks like...

A Man Called Catten, Shining, DIS, dossing around for a bit, perhaps with a bit of Evile, bit of Alter of Plagues, rest of Doom, large chunk of Amplifier, all of Godflesh, quick bit of Ulver (glad I've already seen them twice) and then a mad dash to get a good spot for the whole Devin set.

So glad I'm seeing Astrohenge and Conan tomorrow in Camden for FREE! :P (look above for more details)

Crup, gonna make a nice festival plan now. This is going to be DIFFICULT... D
Cheers for the update!
I could plan on leaving the Godflesh set, go to GIAA, hop to Ulver then catch the end of DTP. But am I really going to be able to tear myself away from Godflesh in the first place...

The next you'll be hearing from me will should be on the matter of the pre-show and pre-ordering merch.

Pre-ordering merch seemed a bit silly to me, then a realised that I loath lugging round a t-shirt under arm for the whole day. Also being the last customer when the merch ladies are trying to pack their stuff away is a task only for the brave.
Bound to be some signings and other such things. Will keep you guys posted.
Hope to see some of you lot in Camden tomorrow night!

Have to say that I enjoyed the fuck out of Astrohenge, gutted I'll be missing them for Shining and DIS at the festival.
Pre-show announcement isn't far off at all. Bands have been picked, prices set, just waiting on the artwork.

Less than three weeks until this wonderful bastard destroys Leeds (and hopefully Barnsley in the process).

Not a fan of carrying around merch for the whole day?
Concerned that the Damnation loyal will beat you up for not wearing a t-shirt of a previous festival (because we totally will)?

Well good news!

http://damnationfestival.bigcartel.com/

You can order 2011 merch now and even help Gav (Damnation's head honcho) clear out some space in his garage by buying some merch of previous editions at reduced prices. The hoodies are always great quality and a t-shirt's a t-shirt.

Save some hassle and look like the hippest person in your class/work place/retirement home/tree.
