Yeah that's too bad, but really, is The Machine Shop in Flint any better? Personally I don't think so.

I may or may not go to this since the Detroit date is on a Tuesday so I may be busy.....

I like The Machine Shop, actually. Its kinda small, but its a cool little venue with good sound. Harpo's is just rundown and has the worst management ever. I've never been to a show there that didn't have 5+ local bands booked. Exodus had to cut their set early because the fucking local bands took so god damn long.

Whoa anyone know why the VIP price doubled from the last tour? It's a 120 bucks for the CO Springs show. I really want to do it but that's allotta kesh... Wanted my girlfriend to do it with me too but can't pay for both of us now. Decisions....

Edit: also, no mention of if the meet and greet includes an acoustic show... Just meeting Dev would be awesome but seeing him play an acoustic show would be another whole realm if awesome lol.

I'm going to fly out from Kansas City for the Colorado Springs and Denver shows, but I'm only going to go VIP for one show. Does anybody know which venue is better? The only thing I can find is that The Black Sheep is bigger than the Marquis theater.

I've never been to the Black Sheep, but the Marquis is a great venue. It is a bit small, but it's great for intimate club shows. I saw Gojira there on their first headlining tour and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Those on here who live in Portland, do say hello at the Hawthorne show! I'm the short one who screams a lot and pretty much gets trampled up by the stage.

Looks like I'm going to Poughkeepsie. Got the VIP package even though I really shouldn't have but I promised my girlfriend I'd take her to a meet n greet with Devin next time he tours and well IM A MAN OF MY FUCKING WORD. Sometimes. Unless I said it while drunk. Then it's 50/50.

Indeed! *to be read in Ziltoid's voice*

I ended up purchasing a VIP ticket for the Colorado Springs show, and I'm going to get a GA ticket for the Denver show. I decided to go VIP for the Colorado Springs show since it occurs first and I won't know what the set-list will be. :P

I'm so jealous of you guys who are close enough to go to two shows. I've never been able to make it to one of Dev's solo shows. The closest he ever comes is Vancouver, and I always seem to be going through a financial crisis when the tickets go on sale. Also, going to Van for a show is a nightmare, and costs a packet.

One day, one day...

If there's anything large happening at the DCU, that part of the city gets their greed on. Meter rates stay he same so far as I know and are free after six.
What I generally do is meet buddies at a local free municipal lot. My preference is one town over from Worcester in Millbury. It's fifteen minutes out of Worcester and just off the junction of 146 and 90. As a bonus, I can usually arrange for overflow and even lodging nearby free of charge. Mind you, last time I went for the latter with a stranger my friend said "tell them to bring a tent."

yeah last time I went for a DCU event, rock and shock, i swirled the block 5 times before finding the shadiest and cheapest garage. In fact I think it was actually some guy's garage. $10

You guys are wasting your money! If you go a block or two away from the venue, whether it's DCU or the Palladium, you can find free parking on the street. And by free, I mean there aren't any meters. Even if there are meters, often it's free after 6 PM. I am more than happy to walk 10 minutes or whatever instead of coughing up $20+ to park.

Street parking in that part of Worcester is totally fine. Truth be told, the only tale of a popped tire/cracked windshield nature I ever heard came from a guy who paid decent money for parking. Mates with windows stuck down go street and haven't had so much as a single CD stolen. I just like having my car near a friend's one town over as he cooks a good steak and always has premium beer.
