For us Philadelphia/Pennsylvania residents... we have to be 21 or older to go see DTP play? Just wondering, because The Note is a bar, but their site has some listing for all ages, some for 18 and older, and some for 21 and over.

I've been waiting for this announcement for many, MANY months. :D None of the shows are close to me, but I generally have to travel for pretty much any concert that I'd like to go to, and I don't mind. I flew out to Seattle to see him last October, and this time I plan to fly out for both of the Colorado shows, although I'm very curious about the "special NY dates." I wonder if they'll be similar to those special dates in the UK?

I'm so glad that there will be VIP packages available again, because I didn't end up going VIP last time, and I wish that I had! Still, it was one of the most amazing shows that I've ever attended (although getting hit by a car the next day while standing on the sidewalk in Seattle and ending up in the hospital put a damper on the whole trip).

I wonder if DTP will headline, considering it's a festival date? They usually have someone halloween-y. Either way - a festival where you can see Dev and meet Lance Henriksen and both Buseys?! YES

you bring up an interesting point. I've seen them combine tours on this festival, which means we could get jibbed out of a full set. One year I saw the tours of Children of Bodom and Obituary get combined, Obituary played really early and it kinda sucked.

I'll most likelt be at this show, but I'd love to know when this "NY surprise" he alluded to on twitter will be occurring

The show in Worcester seems like an odd combination (actors and bands???), but I'll be there for Dev regardless. I don't care if he plays 30 minutes or two hours - I know I'll be entertained :-P

I might venture over to New York too depending on where the surprise shows are.

Dev, bring some tracbeams on tour. Otherwise your Seattle show will look like dark room (two red cans. nothing else. so lame)
But yes, still very excited for another Dev headlining show. Almost a year to the date, back in Seattle :D

El Corazon sucks. If you're able, head to Portland for the show next night - Hawthorne theatre is a pretty nice place. :)

He gave us far more for $60 than most artists give for $150. A few other VIP packages were like take your picture with the band, but you are not allowed to talk to them. But not Dev, It was a very personal open thing, and the acoustic performance was breath taking.

This this this. That acoustic show/Q&A was so awesome.

Nah, the actors/signing stuff takes place at the DCU center. The "rock" takes place at the Palladium. The "shock" takes place in your wallet, watch out because around that time of year the local businesses try to gouge people ( ex. PARKING $20) I actually worked that event helping a guy sell merch in 2004, it's a pretty cool thing, first year was dead, but it's improved vastly. I will actually be heading out early as previous years if you bought a ticket to the show, you got in the convention for free day of show.

I'd imagine this show would be 18+ since the last one was.

Yeah, El Corazon does suck, I mainly have an issue with the place because security there are a bunch of cockslants, not that I give them any reason to fuck with me, but I've witnessed them pull some shitty shit upon others. Seen SYL there a couple times and to be honest, once Devin comes on, any shitty vibes or thoughts of being in a crappy club, quickly are washed away. Can't wait for another headlining tour (and VIP packages if he really IS doing those again, that was amazing last time), Devin is the best showman these days... :guitar:

I can't wait. Gonna get my VIP ticket presale as soon as they go live, hopefully tonight at midnight or something wacky like that. I was scared to bring my ghost 2 vinyl from the LE to the Ugly World tour he was in, but with this gig I definitely want to get him to sign it, and make sure I get a good picture this time haha.

Also yes The Note is a 21 and over only place. I was there last year when I got the VIP package, well worth it and Devy was AMAZING!!! A lot of my friends are pissed that it's 21 and over but hey, I had to deal with that when I was a young metalhead.
