Ah but for the days when travel costs = only real concern for a concert. Now I've got to worry about babysitters, kennels, Getting the time off without being written up for abusing time off policies...

Also hoping he announces these EAST coast dates soon, Because if Dev's show is during the week, I can't take 2 days off to go see Helmet as well as Dev

I'm hoping he comes to Mass as well, but I'm willing to drive anywhere in New England, plus NY/NJ, maybe even PA. I'm assuming he'd be playing for more than 30 minutes so it would def be worth it 8)

I'm historically good to do shows in MA, RI, NH, CT, or NY. NJ and PA are possibilities but would require non-campground lodging due to the fact we're looking at late October/early November. If peeps want to meet up at a gig between then and now then discuss maybe carpooling, that's cool. Based on past experiences doing that I ask we define designated drivers and disclose all potential probation issues more around the 1 mile mark than the 250.

So about two months ago I gave up and told my betrothed "eh get the tickets for whatever it is you want to do for my birthday. What are the chances the Dev tour will be announced much less fall on the same day?" So she did. Fourth row. Special showing. Naturally, the local date is at a place which would be 15 minutes away any other night of the week. Ah well. It's off to Oneonda for me and Froghat.
Speaking of Froghat for those of you who joined his cult (and he didn't run off), there's a pre-show field trip to the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester (http://higgins.org). Admission is fairly cheap and it's a really cool place. There may also be a little party afterwards but the general rule is don't piss off a 6'4" man crazy enough to wear a hat like that in public by inviting people to his (lily) pad.
