i have a smaaaaall suggestion. i do enjoy live albums much, however i do have a small beef with live albums that aren't a gig in its entirety (i.e. one song performed at one venue, then the next track at a different venue, you get what i mean). so if we could just have a whole gig, that would kickass. with MUCH Dev banter.

Excellent news. I'm glad youve chosen to put all the vids on their since that would really bug me if they were missing. Sounds a killer idea but maybe a tour diary of some format or something along those lines?

Put the works on it mate....like an audio commentary of the gig, a guitar lesson, a gallery section of the hottest chicks you found on tour (i'm sure you could find a roadie to snap a few shots)....rehearsal footage where you are belittleing your band members for not accenting certain notes correctly etc.

That would most assuredly turn this great music dvd into a horror show!

Ideas/Brain Farts:

An optional Devin commentary audio track on the DVD

Please include at least one track from Physicist (Material, Namaste or The Complex would suit me just fine I just want to see/hear that shit played live).

A video guided tour of HDR/Studios.

A high-lights reel of video footage from different points of DT/DTB history in terms of studio recordings, interviews, goofing off.......day in the life of Dev type stuff.

.....thats about all I can think of though I'm totally thrilled about the 5.1 audio track possibility.

The only thing I'd really like is that there is a broad range of songs played at that show. Which would mean at least one or 2 songs from Physicist (crosses fingers for Material and Kingdom) and a load fof songs from every albums, a full blown DT carreer retrospective, in colour!!! Honestly, if you play Funeral/Bastard, I will die of happinness.

I am very excited to hear about this upcoming DTB DVD project. Some of my favorite music comes from Terria, Ocean Machine and Physicist, not to mention all your other projects.
Of course we would have to see some early SYL footage, if any in fact exists. Touring from Heavy As A... perhaps?
All your solo project videos would be a wonderful treat, however I know how one does not always want to promote things they aren't fully satisfied with, as I have heard you aren't overly keen on some of the videos done for your earlier music. If those weren't to be included (or even if they are), some new footage of various songs taken from all your releases performed by you and you alone with an acoustic ala The Columbia solo show (wish I'd known that was happening...would have made the trip!), except new and done specially for this package. The song selection to be formed via online poll, allowing the fans to choose...the only fair way. hehe.
Also a lot to ask, but perhaps a few (or lots) of new tracks exclusive to the DVD set? That would fucking slay.
I'm sure no matter what is in this package, it will be truly amazing. I will come over for the DVD show, no question! Well, as long as it's on a Saturday. heh.
Sorry to hear about the warehouse flood...I hope there is at least some recourse for you to take.
