I like Paradise Lost, but since most of our users here are British or mainland European, I need to explain how never big they were out here. We had Type O Negative, they were always second banana.

In all fairness, Paradise Lost are in fact mostly unknown here. Despite it being their homeland (And Yorkshire brah's) they've always done much better abroad but they do have a loyal yet relatively small UK fanbase. Criminally overlooked IMHO.
Type O, however were/are adored on our shores. Especially by me. :D

Yeah, basically mainland Europe and South America and nowhere else.

Innit. Total shame for a band that has over 20yrs worth of decent releases, bless 'em.

They will be! Opeth and Mastodon did this, and they had the same length setlist. And someone else said that DTP and Katatonia will, in fact, have the same length set.

Good, because I have one of the the Katatonia headline dates and I would've been a sad panda, regardless of how much I may like Jonas Renske.

That has never been relevant in my experiences. The only time any headliner has ever extended their set was when Symphony X played The Odyssey in May 2011, and that was only because Soilwork and Nevermore cancelled/broke up.

Basically the "encores" in most rotating headliners I've ever seen, if you're going on first, are just directly in the set, and then if you're the last band, that's when they do the whole HERP I'M HERE NOW I'M GONE AND I'LL BE BACK IN 2 MINUTES thing.

Yes! So glad Dev is headlining the Toronto show! Having Katatonia go on after Devy and the boys would be absurd. Katatonia is a decent band, but nowhere near the stage presence of Devin. I saw Katatonia open for Opeth last year and to be honest they were just boring live.
