Woah.. $127? How much were the VIP tix last time?
like 40. You're getting more this time though.
WOW! sticker shock!
they were a great deal last time though......i guess it evens out.

Knowledge is good.
Is there a pre-show acoustic set?? I was really hoping for that. Wasn't that featured on the last tour?
Octillus wrote:Not that VIP is available for SF at the moment anyway, but I think I might have to skip this one, yikes. Regular ticket's purchased though.
I wonder why they don't have a VIP package listed for SF? Not sure if I should go ahead and spring for regular tickets if there may be a VIP package. Hmmm...

Doesn't mention anything about the acoustic show this time, so no, you're not getting more this time. That acoustic show was worth far more than the extra stuff in these VIP packages.
Do you mind if I dance?

I hate to say it but I agree. As cool as a sock puppet and t shirt are, I was really hoping for an acoustic show. I would gladly pay the current VIP price for just an acoustic set and a meet & greet.

Likewise, acoustic set, meet & greet (although most of us have met and talked with Devy face to face MANY times).. I can't easily justify THAT much money just for a shirt/laminate/ziltoid puppet.
I have no idea whats going on... I had no idea anything was up for sale today...holy fuck!
I'm on it, will have news why it's so retarded expensive when I get it...sry

I have to be honest. That isn't that much.
Dream Theater I think was like 300 for a v.i.p ticket or something last time I went.

I think it's for 2 reasons, 1 being they haven't announced any of the rock and shock musical performers or put tickets on sale for the convention part yet(Devy jumped the gun on them) and the second is it might actually be a combined with another tour as I mentioned in another thread.I saw them do that a previous year with Children of Bodom and Obituary, while it was cool to see a ton of bands in one stop, for us Dev fans that wouldn't work out to well because we wouldn't get a headlining set.

Thank you Dev!!

Even if it's over $100 I'm willing to shell out the money for Dev: it is a LOT of really good stuff. It's going to hurt my wallet as I'm sure everyone else's but if it means he gets to keep playing music, I'm all for it.
That's the one thing I'm nervous about, the whole Rock and Shock thing sounds cool, but I'm mainly going for Devin. If his set time gets cut down by Rob Zombie or something...

Do you mind if I dance?

Yeah i was going to go to Zombie/Cooper last year but it was WAY expensive, so I just went to the convention instead.
For those that don't know, if you buy a ticket to the show, you get into the rock and shock convention for free. There's a lot of cool stuff, like celeb signings and tons of merch, so if you plan to hit the Worcester Show, make a day out of it
