Turn up outside the venue around 4-5ish and ask around if anyone's got any spares. There's almost always a few floating around. There's no guarentee of course, but if you're already in the area, there's no harm. I've given spares to strangers before, and also got in by trying my luck on the day, so it is worth a shot!

Taxis in London require a mortgage and they're Canadian so they're easily pleased.
