I don't come here every day but happened to look around last night and saw that a link was coming. Very lucky for me.
Very much looking forward to this one. Devin is the one artist that my 15 year old son and I both can't get enough of.
Thanks to Devin for making this one happen.

Regards, Andrew

Gotta get my hands on this via O-Merch.
As soon as they get some in stock, I'm gonna do something I really shouldn't do : Buy more Devy when I don't have money !
You guys know if they'll refill on Ziltoid Mugs too ?

Instead of printing more, I think he needs to do a second one! This time do the sleeve in light blue and let me decide what songs he does on it...

...DEEP PEACE WITH THE BUM NOTE!

the tracklist offers a lack of some important songs to me. i think it's sad, he could've gotten so much more out of it. An all acoustic album by Devin is a very interesting project in general, at least Funeral is on there. But I don't get the point why not throwin 2-3 more songs on it. A lack of time maybe?

This unplugged release sounds beautiful. The compositions have a unique feel to them when compared to the originals. I know that's stating the obvious but they sound unique to themselves when compared to other Devy releases. I'd be really really interested to know what type of Axe Fx presets Devin used, what microphones, the positions and also the post processing involved in this release.
It seems like quite a simple easy mix, yet it sounds so damn crisp, clear, smooth and 'milky' if you get what I mean. I strive for that type of production in my acoustic recordings and im almost there. When he played this material live, it sounded almost identical to the cd, was that clear and rich sounding! Through a Mackie Pa system also.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips suggestions on getting projects with not many tracks sounding so deep and lush. Obviously delay and reverb effects come into the equation. If Devin could even shed some light on how he recorded this release it would make my day :) Must have been pretty straightforward though im guessing.
Also, loving the new Carbon fiber acoustic that Devin is using from Peavey, sounds rich and massive. I'm guessing this was used for this release also?
I was incredibly lucky to see Dev twice in one day the other day, one at my local music store in Newton Abbott, then in the evening at Exeter Cavern. Was fantastic, the guy is such a gentleman, absolutely blown away by how 'normal' and sound the guy is compared to alot of other artists I have met. What a legend. :D

Damn you got it already? Where do you live? I thought Dev said on twitter that it was gonna take awhile to send out... Huh.
