Title says it all chaps, metal hammer are releasing the setlist along with other details in the latest issue. I'll be the first to request details as I'm still looking for an issue to hit the shops.

Any info? :)

Thank GOD this is getting put out before the show. Gonna have to try find it first thing tomorrow and finally decide what the fuck I'm doing with this whole situation.

Wait.. what? Really?

I would've thought with a high profile show like this he'd have kept it as much a surprise as possible >_>

Anyway, not coming back in this thread for sake of spoilers, just wanted to post my thought

Dev would be the worst surprise birthday organiser ever.

"oh hey how's it going we're throwing a surprise party for you tomorrow, everyone from your office will be there and your sister's even making a surprise appearance and we got you a cake that looks like the gruffalo and you're getting a Le Cruset set as your present then later on your neighbour from ten years ago will have a bit too much to drink and he'll start a fight with your potted yucca then cry about how his cat doesn't acknowledge him anymore then at one point in the evening a glass will get broken but it'll be okay cause it'll only be an IKEA one."

...pretty much like that.

^ Truefacts!

[SPOILER ALERT!!!]

According to Tyroshai the set list confirmed in Metal Hammer is:

True north
Lucky animals
Truth
War
Planet smasher
Babysong
Detox
Vampira
Hyperdrive!
Ih-Ah!
Sunday afternoon
Addicted!
Bend it like bender!
Love?
Juular
Grace
Little pig

However, that doesn't equate to anywhere near the 3 hours.. So.. Speculation?.. Surely the performers won't be taking up the extra hour or so not accounted for.. Does anyone know if there's going to be support acts or just the circus folk?

Yeah, there's a distinct lack of material from Terria and OM on the Metal Hammer list, the SYL stuff is definite but it'd be a dick move to release the FULL setlist prior to the show. Gotta have a few surprises lying in wait.

EDIT: The Metal Hammer list was released by Dev himself inclusive of the SYL tracks- FWIW.

With prof. wedgie on this one; not sure about the validity of that setlist if Ryan said no SYL material. It's almost exclusively comprised of poppier/simpler songs too, and I was under the impression this was supposed to be a retrospective of his whole career... ? It'd make more sense as a setlist for the current Epicloud tour, IMO...

Edit: If it's missing a third of the songs, then I guess that makes sense. Maybe a setlist in three parts? Songs sorted and organized by type, perhaps? Crazy metal setlist, poppier/simpler setlist, etc...

It varies throughout the show, it's a proper theatrical performance dealio with a 15 min interval in the middle. My guess Ryan said no is because it WAS the biggest surprise of the night...well done Mr T. Well done :P

Ah... understood. I knew he played Love? acoustically a while back, but for whatever reason I never thought he'd pull it/any other SYL song out for real again. Guess that surprise isn't a surprise anymore...
