I'm a desperate fan making a last ditch effort, trying to get into one of the VIP pre-shows.

If anyone has ANY info on getting in to see the acoustic show... i.e. extra/unused ticket, waiting list, whatever, please let me know. I'm going to the NYC show at the Gramercy theater, but I'd be willing to travel to any of the surrounding shows (Oneota, Worcester, etc.).

Not that I think anyone who has a VIP ticket would give one up, but I figured I'd throw a post up on here seeing if anything was out there.

From what I've seen in my inbox and on the forum, VIP access works more like guestlist than a normal ticket sale. An order reserves you a spot. To claim it, you bring your receipt and ID matching the name on it. What I am not sure of is if someone ordering multiple tickets had to tell them exactly who they were taking along or it's more like "John Doe+2" with Mr. Doe saying "these are the two I choose." If that's the case then standing around the congregation area at the proper time and jumping into a conversation about how someone bailed too late to grab a replacement is about the best you can hope for.

As per the email I received from Artist Arena:

"Please arrive at the venue NO LATER than 5:45 pm. Congregate by the box office/will call area while forming a separate line. Be sure to bring a photo ID and a printed copy of your ticket purchase confirmation email to ensure entrance. Please do not wander off, as a representative of the band will come to you around this time to escort you to the VIP Meet & Greet and distribute your laminate and shirt."

How soon before the show did you get the email about the VIP stuff? My show is on Nov. 6th and I still haven't heard anything yet.

You pick everything up at the day of the show, mines on the 3rd and i haven't got an email either.
