Haha so true.

I was like: "OK, this guy knows what he's talking about."

Oh man, that was one of the first songs I heard too. Basically, a forum I frequented pointed out Oh My Fucking God. I was an adolescent, so that's all I needed to hear, heard All Hail the New Flesh, was hooked, and the first thing I saw on Kazaa (SORRY DEV, BOUGHT THE WHOLE CATALOGUE LATER, I SWEARZ:P) was Far Beyond Metal, and it was clicked immediately.

January of this year, i started to loose touch with music i "liked", It turned out i craved music that was more fast and aggressive and of course powerful.

Sitting on my couch watching scuzz at like 2am so bored ready to go bed, Love? comes on, I was feeling a great sense of euphoria, it was perfect, what i needed, I then became obsessed with devs music and got just about all the material dev put out, solo, band and syl even vai.

I remember thinking to myself where has this been my entire life, im sure i got the music because of a new level of maturity iv been having.

I gave away alot of my old cd's that i used to adore to friends because they weren't musically satisfying me. I didn't explain myself. I feel i can listen to anything i want now and not have boundaries like the poseur of my last self.

I now probably find a band/artist a week that i dig, ive bought more albums in the past 7 months than I ever did collectively in my life. Even though i'm finding so much great music nothing compares to devs...
