I'll easily be the first to reply to this....

Geoff did an amazing job on all the artwork and I think he truely showed his amazing talent on this album. This happens to be my fave artwork out of any Devy album. I love it and it suits the mood of the album perfectly. Terria is a very close second for me but the artwork on Synchestra is absolutely perfect for the music !

Amazing job, as always Geoff !!!!

Yeah. Albums like AE and Infinity have a too simple cover. Sometimes it's good, though.

The artwork is really good.

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed when I found out that the cover was 'just' a stock picture. It really is an amazing photograph, stunning beauty. But I was a bit disappointed, would have liked it to be more unique, so to say. The fact that everyone can use this pic means that it could pop up everywhere, and it feels less special. It's more 'the pic that was used for the Synchestra cover' than 'the Synchestra cover.
But again, it really is a beautifull cover, nevertheless!

For the rest of the artwork, it's very beautiful indeed. Not as spectacular and twisted as Terria's artwork (which still is my favourite) but it looks great and totally fits the album.

Compliments to the chef!

It means that anyone can use the photo for their work. The original pic for the cover can be found here. There's been a whole lot of discussion about it in a thread earlier, that was deleted 'by request' and I'm not intending to go there.
Don't get me wrong, I love the cover. It's just that it isn't as unique as all the other records, almost every record by any artist that bothers me a little.

I read that it's all the way in India.

funny, the girl who took the photo was just taking pictures at a nearby park. Who woulda thought The Dev would pick it for an album cover. she must be really proud

Hope she listens to Devin Townsend lol

and yeah being there would be the only thing better than the spot i found when I first listened to Synchestra. That would be... possibly the most amazng thing I could ever experience. I shoudl do that
but ugh... Indiaaaa..

Both Synchestra and Accelerated Evolution have amazing artwork, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Throw Terria in there as well.

I'm quite partial to the Infinity artwork myself. I love how the understatement balances the bombastic nature of the album. It's nice.
