That's cool and really moving, gozu.

It's a good thing that some people are able to see the beauty that can be found behind the wall of distorted guitars.

Yeah, I also have a lot of respect for Nightwish. They are definitely for real. I watched the new DVD, and it's obvious that the 4 guys are passionate about the music. I don't know about Tarja. I haven't met her, so I can't say anything bad about her.

Ehr.. sorry 'bout the off-topic blabbering

My mom loves some of Dev's work. My dad saw the DTB live with me, and decided that Devin was a demon. I think he thought dev was yelling 'Fuck You' during the 'Thank You' part of Pixillate, so I proceeded to play Imperial and Skeksis for him later, to which he surprisingly only responded "Well.... if that doesn't wake you up, nothing will!"

Anyway, to add to the thread.... he continues the ocean theme in 'Cosmic Surf', references Gaia in 'Decimator', creates a dark version of Judgement in Polyphony, creates shades of Pixillate in Hope, etc.

I think the "God hasn't always been listening to me" from "Decimator" is in "Depthcharge" too.

I disagree. That melody consists of a single note, and he's done that in a lot of his songs.

I dont really hear Truth in Pixillate. I hear the Infinity references in baby song though. Very cool. Never realized.

I don't hear anything that hasn't been pointed out already.

And I feel the pain of everyone who's girlfriend/wife hates Dev. I'm in the same boat with ya.
