A bit off topic but when I was 17 or thereabouts... Devin was the closest thing I had to a "musical god." Then I met him and he was this kinda dorky guy with a kitty tattoo who wanted to run away to the phone to call his girlfriend.

I know this is dredging back a super old post but I just thought I'd say I'm bookmarking this as I too am about to embark on a similar situation in my life and I can see Tracy's words becoming invaluable when I'm feeling angsty.
