having to put pets to sleep is really upsetting. Condolences.

The dog furthest away from the camera hurt her leg yesterday so we took her to the vet today. The vet informed us that she had bone cancer, and that she is in extreme pain and our best choice is to put her to sleep. She cant even walk . So we are going to put her to sleep tomorrow

What is her name? I hope that she passes peacefully and goes to doggy heaven....

I have to get pics of my nearly kitty...we've got a stray who we started feeding a while ago, and now he comes in for affection too. My male cat growls at him, but there haven't been any actual fights yet, so hopefully he'll accept him he's sooooooo sweet

and meh, i miss having a dog

and i'm sorry to hear about having to put your dog to sleep, really am. My dad once had to do that with my grandma's dog, and i think he liked him even more than my grandma. Really hard situation, but they're on a better place right now

On the sad news front, Gizmo died and I surrendered Annabelle to the MSPCA. The former was old, arthritic, and just couldn't keep it going any longer. She spent her last day on the porch visiting with my family and a couple of our cats.
Annabelle urinated outside the litterbox to express anger over change. This had the side effect of provoking the landlord to put the house on the market without telling us around when I got a new full-time job. Between moving and me never being here, she'd be miserable right up to when we had a kid and she really lost it.

Gwynn cleans very often and very loudly. Only kitty I know who slurps.


Gus has nice markings on his back but it's nigh impossible to get shots of him where he's not lying on his back for belly rubs.


For whatever reason, Niko doesn't photograph as well as the others. He's much cuter in person. Of course... next to Gus, no one really photographs that well.
