Ryan - followup to previous post

I was going to respond to your response, but the whole post was locked for some reason.

Anyway, Hellhammer has been involved in a multitude of bands. Here's as many as I can remember:

Mayhem (old-school black metal)
Arcturus (space metal; I tend to refer to them as the Astral Carnival)
The Kovenant (industrial/spacey/black metal)
Winds (classical/progressive/dark metal)

He's also done session/guest drumming for more acts than I can remember, including the brand new, rerecorded Dimmu Borgir album, Stormbläst. Check out Arcturus's The Sham Mirrors and The Kovenant's Nexus Polaris.

i always thought that Arcturus used a drum machine named hellhammer on The Sham Mirrors... it sounds a lot like one... I was fairly surprised to find out he was a human being...
