kinda, but writing lyrics aint my strong point, i could probably write some killer vocal melodies but i'm not good with lyrics.

NICE! Your sound has got some real soul.
Then forget the lyrics. Go for the sounds and melody. Alot of people just fly with it and the lyrics kind of form themselves.
